At present, DEICIDE does not sell personal information for monetary consideration. We also do not knowingly disclose personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising as part of our current core operations. If our practices change, we will update this Privacy Policy and provide any rights or notices required by applicable law.
- Within DEICIDE and among personnel, contractors, or collaborators who need the information to operate the Services or support users.

- In de-identified, anonymized, or aggregated form that does not reasonably identify you.
6. Service Providers and Processors
We may use third-party providers to support our operations. Depending on the service, these providers may process personal information on our behalf or receive transaction-related information necessary to provide their services.
Current or expected providers may include authentication providers such as Clerk, backend or storage providers such as Supabase, hosting and deployment providers such as Vercel, payment processors such as Stripe, and analytics, email, fraud prevention, customer support, merchandising, or fulfillment providers. Our vendor relationships may change over time as our Services evolve.
We generally require service providers to handle personal information only for authorized business purposes and subject to contractual or operational controls that are appropriate for the services provided.
7. Payments
If you make a purchase, subscription payment, or other transaction through DEICIDE, payment card data and other payment credentials are generally processed by third-party payment processors. DEICIDE does not store full payment card numbers, expiration dates, or card security codes on its own systems except as made available in a limited form by a payment processor.
We may receive limited transaction-related information such as billing name, billing and shipping details, payment status, order totals, partial payment method details such as card brand or last four digits, and fraud or dispute information necessary to manage transactions, subscriptions, records, and support.
8. Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including to provide the Services, maintain accounts, complete transactions, comply with legal, tax, accounting, and regulatory obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and protect against fraud or abuse.
Retention periods may vary depending on the type of information, the sensitivity of the information, the nature of the relationship, whether an account remains active, and any legal or operational needs. We may also retain information in de-identified or aggregated form for analytics, reporting, or product improvement where permitted by law.
When personal information is no longer needed, we may delete it, de-identify it, anonymize it, or retain it in a restricted form where continued retention is required or permitted by law.
9. Data Security
We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, and disclosure. These safeguards may include access controls, provider security features, encryption or hashing where appropriate, logging, and operational restrictions based on role and function.
No method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure. Accordingly, we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for notifying us if you believe your account or information has been compromised.
10. International Data Transfers
DEICIDE is based in the United States, and our providers or collaborators may operate in the United States or other countries. As a result, personal information may be transferred to, stored in, or processed in jurisdictions that may have different data protection laws than your home jurisdiction.
Where applicable, we may rely on available legal mechanisms or provider commitments intended to support cross-border data transfers, such as contractual measures or other recognized safeguards, when we determine they are appropriate and required.
11. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live and subject to applicable law, you may have some or all of the following rights with respect to personal information we process about you:
- The right to know whether we process your personal information and to request access to that information.
- The right to request correction of inaccurate personal information.
- The right to request deletion of personal information, subject to exceptions.

- The right to opt out of certain disclosures or uses where applicable law grants that right.
- The right not to receive unlawful discriminatory treatment for exercising applicable privacy rights.
How to Exercise Rights
To submit a privacy or data rights request, contact us at privacy@deicide.net. We may need to verify your identity before processing a request, and we may decline or limit a request where permitted by law. If you are acting as an authorized agent, we may request proof of your authority and, where required, direct confirmation from the relevant individual.
We may not be able to fulfill a request if doing so would interfere with legal obligations, security, fraud prevention, protection of rights, completion of a transaction, maintenance of an account, or other legally permitted purposes.
12. U.S. State Privacy Rights
Residents of certain U.S. states, including California and other states with applicable privacy laws, may have additional rights regarding access, deletion, correction, portability, opting out of certain processing, and appeal rights. Those rights may be subject to exceptions, exemptions, verification requirements, and thresholds under applicable law.
If a state law applies to DEICIDE and grants you specific rights, we will honor verified requests as required by that law. We will not discriminate against you for exercising applicable privacy rights. Where a state law provides an appeal process for denied requests, you may request an appeal by replying to our response or contacting us again at the address above.
If we begin engaging in practices that require specific state-law disclosures, such as disclosures regarding sale, sharing, targeted advertising, or the use of sensitive personal information beyond permitted purposes, we will update this Privacy Policy or provide an additional state-specific notice.
13. GDPR / EEA-Style Rights and Legal Bases
To the extent the General Data Protection Regulation, UK GDPR, Swiss data protection law, or similar laws apply to DEICIDE's processing of your personal information, DEICIDE generally processes personal information under one or more of the following legal bases: performance of a contract or steps taken at your request before entering into a contract; our legitimate interests in operating, improving, securing, and growing the Services; compliance with legal obligations; and your consent where required.
Where these laws apply, you may have rights including the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection, and the right not to be subject to a decision based solely on automated processing that produces legal or similarly significant effects, subject to applicable limitations. You may also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
If you are located in the EEA, UK, or Switzerland and believe our processing is subject to those laws, you may contact us at the address above to exercise your rights or request additional information about our processing.
14. Children's Privacy
DEICIDE's Services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without a lawful basis, such as parental consent where required. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13 in a manner that requires deletion, we will take reasonable steps to delete that information.
Parents or guardians who believe a child may have provided personal information to DEICIDE may contact us at the address below. If DEICIDE launches future services that are specifically directed to minors or require different age-gating rules, we may provide additional privacy disclosures or age-specific notices.
15. Third-Party Links and Services
Our Services may contain links to third-party websites, platforms, communities, storefronts, payment pages, streaming channels, or tools that are not operated by DEICIDE. This Privacy Policy does not apply to the privacy practices of those third parties.
If you choose to use third-party services, including community platforms such as Discord or third-party payment, support, analytics, or social tools, your information may be governed by those third parties' own terms and privacy policies. We encourage you to review those policies before interacting with those services.
16. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our business, services, legal obligations, technology, or privacy practices. When we do, we will post the updated version on this page and revise the "Last Updated" date above.
If we make material changes, we may also provide additional notice through the Services or by other means where appropriate and required by law.
